Tim Mason
Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
With over 30 years of expertise in the security industry, Tim is a visionary system integrator specializing in cutting-edge security technology and video solutions. A graduate of Säid Business School through the Goldman Sachs 10KSB program, Tim's deep knowledge of vision tech sparked the creation of a groundbreaking forklift-mounted solution for barcode scanning—leading to the formation of Ensiovision.
In collaboration with industry expert Roger Fawcett, Tim has spearheaded the evolution of this system into Sydan, a revolutionary tool set to disrupt the logistics market. After two years of rigorous testing and securing initial orders totaling £2.5 million, EnsioVision and Sydan are primed for a full-scale market launch, ready to transform the future of material handling.
Roger Fawcett
Executive Chairman
Roger has a D.Phil (PhD) in Computer Vision (Oxford University) and over 25 years of industry experience in AI/software/hardware as an engineer, executive and entrepreneur. He was founder/CEO of Omnitek which created AI/vision/video processing solutions for FPGA based products. Following investment from Xilinx, Roger led the successful exit to Intel in 2019.
Omnitek achieved three Queen’s awards (two for innovation and one for export sales), published patents and published academic papers in the field of signal processing, AI and computer vision. Roger supervised a D.Phil (PhD) research program in AI at Oxford University. Roger is a member of Cambridge Angels (technology angel investment) and is an investor and business consultant for the technology sector
Andrew Sacks
Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
Andrew is a highly experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) with a strong track record in driving financial strategy within the startup ecosystem. With over 30 years of experience in finance and leadership roles, he has successfully navigated fundraising, financial forecasting, and scaling operations for several high-growth companies.
Before joining EnsioVision, Andrew held senior financial positions where he played a key role in securing venture capital funding and implementing financial models that enhance decision-making and optimize resource allocation. Known for his collaborative approach, he promotes financial literacy across teams, empowering informed financial decisions.
As CFO of EnsioVision, he is committed to advancing the company's financial vision while supporting its mission to innovate in the technology sector.
Mark Stacey
Chief Operating Officer (COO) & Co-Founder of EnsioVision
Mark Stacey began his journey in the tech industry as an apprentice engineer at WRS in 1999. Over the years, he cultivated a profound understanding of the security sector and honed his management skills, ultimately stepping into the role of Managing Director in 2017. Under his leadership, WRS has cemented its reputation as a premier provider of integrated security solutions throughout the UK, achieving prestigious industry accreditations including National Security Inspectorate NSI Gold and ISO 9001.
As a co-founder of EnsioVision, Mark leveraged his extensive knowledge of vision technology to identify and seize opportunities for innovation. His visionary approach has propelled the development of Sydan, a groundbreaking solution poised to disrupt the logistics industry. Mark’s commitment to excellence and his passion for technology continue to drive transformation within the sector, making a lasting impact on the future of integrated solutions.
Aidan Mason
Cloud Solutions Architect
At just 24 years old, Aidan has made remarkable strides in the tech industry, transcending conventional paths to become a leading software developer and entrepreneur. Aidan's journey began with the creation of various websites, both for personal projects and in collaboration with organizations, establishing himself as a successful online partner to GoDaddy. After exiting that venture, he took the reins of his family business, where he implemented innovative IT solutions.
In 2019, Aidan achieved a ground breaking milestone by developing the first proprietary barcode reading software, which evolved into Sydan by EnsioVision. This pioneering software generated £2.5 million in sales and established a disruptive platform within the logistics market, showcasing Aidan's ability to identify and capitalize on industry needs.
As a co-founder of EnsioVision, Aidan continues to lead the development of our cloud infrastructure on AWS, relentlessly pushing the boundaries of technology and innovation. His unique blend of technical expertise and entrepreneurial mindset drives him to create solutions that not only meet current demands but also anticipate future challenges in the tech landscape.
Rowan Bolton
Software Manager
Rowan is a seasoned Software Manager with a Master of Science in Physics from the University of Oxford. With a robust career in software engineering, he has specialized in video processing and algorithm design, consistently driving innovation in these critical areas.
Rowan's professional journey includes significant contributions to reputable organizations such as PA Consulting and Hawkeye, where he played a pivotal role in the development of advanced software solutions that enhanced video analytics and performance. His efforts at Hawkeye were instrumental in its successful exit to Sony, underscoring his ability to deliver impactful results that resonate within the industry.
Additionally, Rowan has made significant strides at Omnitek, contributing to the company's successful acquisition by Intel. His expertise in algorithm design and software development has not only advanced product capabilities but also fostered a culture of collaboration and excellence within his teams.
As a Software Manager, Rowan is dedicated to leading projects that push the boundaries of technology while mentoring emerging talent in the field. Daniel Whittingham
Engineering Design Manager
As a qualified electrical engineer with five years of dedicated service at WRS, Dan has ascended to the role of Engineering Manager, showcasing a remarkable blend of technical expertise and leadership. With a deep-rooted passion for all things mechanical, Dan has played a pivotal role in the design and development of Sydan, driving innovation and excellence throughout the process.
His extensive knowledge in mechanical systems has been instrumental in overcoming engineering challenges, ensuring that Sydan not only meets but exceeds industry standards. Oliver Fawcett
AI and Computer Vision Engineer
Oliver is a passionate AI and Computer Vision Engineer who graduated with a First Class degree in Computer Science from Exeter University. During his academic tenure, he successfully completed several AI design projects that showcased his innovative thinking and technical expertise.
In 2023, Oliver joined EnsioVision as a core member of the Research and Development team, where he has significantly contributed to the advancement of cutting-edge algorithms on the Nvidia platform. Proficient in C/C++, Python, and CUDA, he has played a crucial role in developing solutions that enhance the capabilities and performance of AI-driven applications.

Principal Software Engineer
Jon is a highly accomplished Principal Software Engineer with a Master of Science in Computer Science from the prestigious University of Cambridge. Throughout his career, Jon has specialized in developing advanced video processing and vision algorithms, demonstrating a profound understanding of complexities within these domains. He has successfully led the development of AI software stacks, driving innovation and enhancing performance across various projects.
